Having recently finished reading PC (pagan christianity) and having not read RI (reimagining). I realize that Holy Spirit has been leading me into this revelation for many many years. When I have mentioned things like the things mentioned in PC, I have been met with weird looks of skepticism. I had the priveledge of going to Bible College and pastoring. I left the professional ministry years ago because I became disillusioned (that means there was no more illusion) when it came to the life of the believer and the christian experience. I found that God is desiring to commune with each and every believer so that we can commune altogether. I believe what we have on our hands is a revelation that is may cause a revolution. Remember, the letter kills only the Spirit gives life. Ready for the real kingdom.

I haven't read the book "Pagan Christianity" yet, but I feel the relief already. I'm ordering online as I couldn't get it through my local bookstore. I first felt the relief with "A New Kind of Christian". I cried at nearly every chapter (that was almost 7 years ago). I thank God that the holy spirit has hearts, spaces and places to express in. I can hardly believe how quickly the changes in the church are coming. Thank you George and Frank for your book.

It sounds like you are birth coaches to the pure expression of Jesus love, God's power, the expression, beauty and leading of the holy spirit and Jesus' beautiful bride, the church (community of love, grace and truth) for the purpose of bringing people to the knowledge that we are God's children. The living Jesus sets us free.

With gratitude,

Dominique

The sequel to “Pagan Christianity?” is out now. It’s called “Reimagining Church”. It picks up where “Pagan Christianity” left off and continues the conversation. (“Pagan Christianity” was never meant to be a stand alone book; it’s part one of the conversation.) “Reimagining Church” is endorsed by Leonard Sweet, Shane Claiborne, Alan Hirsch, and many others. You can read a sample chapter at http://www.ReimaginingChurch.org. It’s also available on Amazon.com. Frank is also blogging now at http://frankviola.wordpress.com/

The issue of what an organic church looks like is the subject of the sequel to PAGAN CHRISTIANITY? The sequel is called REIMAGINING CHURCH and it comes out in August. It will discuss leadership, authority, a women's role in the church and many other aspects of organic church. In the meantime, you can learn more about these subjects by checking out the interviews with George Barna and Frank Viola at http://www.ptmin.org/answers.htm
