The local lake has become a toxic hazard thanks to Homer's stupidity. As the dome is being airlifted into place, the parishioners from the church (led by the minister) run out and look into the sky; and the patrons at Moe's do the same. When they see what's happening, the frightened church-goers run into Moe's (I'm assuming they must think a good stiff drink will help calm their jitters) and the equally-shaken bar patrons run into the church building (thinking they might ought to get right with God). Hilarious! By the way, the "Reverend" leads the mob into the local bar. What a hoot! I couldn't remember the name though, so I looked it up, and found that the name isn't specified ever in the show (neither is the denomination.)
