I’m really glad that WordPress set up this free blogging platform, because it can be quite intimidating to set up a self-hosted system unless you’re really motivated to learn. After three or four years of doing this stuff, I still get a little nervous about updating to the latest release; however, there’s a great community out there who are working really hard to make it easier for newbies.

I love WordPress, when I build sites for clients this is the very first thing I suggest to them. But yes, once you move to wordpress.com you will never go back to blogger.
