Our Mission

We exist to promote cross-cultural evangelism and the planting of biblical churches throughout the nations. In our opinion, the terms evangelism and church planting are virtually synonymous. Evangelism brings the gospel to those who do not have a relationship with Jesus Christ; and the fruit of our evangelism provides the foundation for a new congregation of believers. Our primary goal is to make disciples, not simply to get people to attend church meetings.

Seeking Affiliation with Our Ministry?

E-mails arrive every week from church planters (particularly from the African continent or India) seeking affiliation with Grace Church Planting Ministries. A bit puzzled by these requests, we do not understand why this seems to be such an urgent need in some parts of the world. The Bible does not require this sort of thing, so we do not want any brother or sister in Christ to feel inadequate or incomplete in their church planting ministries by laboring under such an illusion. We do not offer pastoral oversight, or any sort of official partnership, or ecclesiastical covering to enable you to work under our ministry organization. Please feel free to correspond with us if you have unanswered questions or need guidance in this area.

Need funding?

Are you a church planter seeking financial support? Looking to join our ministry organization? Is your ministry involved in planting new churches? Perhaps you have already planted a new congregation and you need funding to build a worship center or enlarge your present facilities. You need to read this important notice before contacting us.We are a very small ministry and we operate, like yourselves, by faith in God alone. He supplies our needs through the generosity of others but He never gives us more than we need. If we had the financial reserves of Bill Gates, it would be a wonderful ministry to simply channel those resources throughout the world. But that isn't the case, so we are unable to provide financial support and/or funding assistance to you.Our prayer is that God will provide the funding you seek and appropriate networking relationships within your own cultural context. Where God guides, He provides is an old proverb to which we fully subscribe. If you are engaged in the work of church planting, we ask God's richest blessings upon you, your family, and those you seek to reach with the good news of His grace in Christ!

Planting a New Church :: Easy as Falling Off a Log!

The number of national and international ministries focused on church planting has risen to staggering proportions! Everybody wants in on the action, but it's beginning to sound a lot like rocket science to me.Here's the drill. You need to be assessed using New Testament principles a subjective, behavioral interview; do lots of research, using demographics and psychographics, so that you will know if your target area can sustain the six-figure salary you hope to receive a couple of years down the line; raise lots of money up front so you can afford that four bedroom, three bath mansion home in the upper middle-class, mostly white, gated community, home to your demographic target; apply for permission through the proper
